Law enforcement authorities in Guyana have granted station bail totaling $1 million to the wife and relatives of businessman Mark Cromwell. These individuals were previously held for questioning regarding the ongoing investigation into the disappearance of two citizens from Suriname. The detainees had been kept at the East La Penitence and Kitty police facilities while officers conducted inquiries. Despite their release on bail, the investigation into the whereabouts of the missing men remains active. Mark Cromwell, who is currently under United States sanctions, is at the center of this probe. Police officials continue to gather evidence to determine the circumstances surrounding the case, as the family members remain subject to the conditions of their release while the legal process proceeds.
