Racquel Olivia Chandni Seecharran, a long-term accountant at the Guyanese law firm Hughes, Fields and Stoby, has died while traveling in India. The woman was discovered unconscious in her room at a transit hotel located within the Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru on Wednesday. Hotel personnel alerted authorities after she failed to respond to check-out calls. Despite receiving immediate attention from airport medical staff and being transported to a private hospital, she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Nigel Hughes, a partner at the firm where she worked for two decades, confirmed she had traveled abroad for medical purposes. Local police in India have initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding her passing. The deceased had arrived in the country via London on a flight from Virgin Atlantic and was awaiting a connecting domestic flight when the incident occurred.
