Legal representatives for three Venezuelan citizens accused of involvement in the October 2025 fatal bombing of a Mobil gas station have submitted formal no-case arguments. During the resumption of paper committal proceedings before acting Chief Magistrate Faith McGusty, the defense contended that the prosecution has not provided sufficient evidence to establish a prima facie case against the defendants. The legal team maintains that the state's current presentation fails to link the accused individuals to the criminal act, thereby requesting a dismissal of the charges. The court is now reviewing these submissions to determine if the trial against the three foreign nationals will proceed further.
