The Co-operative Republic of Guyana and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg officially entered into an Air Services Agreement on September 24, 2026. This diplomatic accord was formalized by Guyana’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation, Hugh Hilton Todd, alongside Luxembourg’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Xavier Bettel. The pact establishes a legal framework intended to facilitate improved connectivity and cooperation between both nations regarding aviation operations. This development represents a significant step in strengthening bilateral relations and expanding the reach of Guyana's international transport network through formal collaboration with European partners.
