The Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA) has formally refuted reports suggesting that President Irfaan Ali personally obtained 182 acres of land located at Plantation Onderneeming. In a public statement, the agency characterized the allegations, which originated from Kiskadee Watch, as entirely inaccurate and lacking any factual foundation. The authority clarified that the property in question continues to be under state ownership. Furthermore, the CH&PA explained that Order No. 180, which was cited in the claims, is merely a standard administrative component of the official title registration procedure. By issuing this denial, the government body seeks to address the misinformation circulating regarding the president's involvement in land acquisition at this specific site.
